Falcon SRx4 v4 Smart Receiver

The SRx4 v4 Smart Receiver from Falcon Christmas is a long-range differential receiver designed to extend pixel outputs hundreds of feet away from a compatible controller while maintaining reliable data transmission for large-scale animated lighting displays.

Compatible with both Falcon and Kulp controller ecosystems, the SRx4 v4 allows up to 16 remote pixel strings to be connected from a single differential port, making it ideal for props and display sections located far from the main controller enclosure.

Features

  • 16 remote pixel outputs
  • Designed for long-range differential installations
  • Supports distances of 300+ feet from the controller
  • Compatible with Falcon and Kulp smart receiver systems
  • Supports daisy-chained smart receiver configurations
  • Built-in standalone pixel test mode
  • Push-button test activation
  • Individual LED indicators for each data output
  • Auto protocol detection support
  • Termination support for end-of-chain installations

Pixel support

  • Supports 3-wire smart pixels only
  • Compatible with: WS2811, WS2812, UCS1903, Other WS28xx-style pixels

Power

  • Input voltage: 5V–13V DC
  • Maximum current draw: 2 banks of 30A each

Typical use cases

  • Remote props located far from the controller
  • Yard sections requiring long cable runs
  • Mega trees and roof lines
  • Large Christmas and Halloween displays
  • Reducing controller enclosure count

Included in this package

  • Falcon SRx4 v4 Smart Receiver

Notes

  • Multiple receivers on the same chain share the available pixel capacity configured on the controller port
  • Smart mode may slightly reduce available pixel count due to protocol overhead
  • Built-in test mode allows pixel testing without a controller connected
  • Only the last receiver in a chain should have termination enabled
