What is a presale?

A presale allows customers to purchase select products before they are manufactured or shipped, based on an announced production run.

At Light Show Factory, presales are used for specific items to help us:

Manufacture to demand
Offer more competitive pricing
Reduce excess inventory and waste
Consolidate international shipping

Presale items are clearly identified as such on their product pages.

How our presale works

Presale period
Presales typically open once per year, usually in January, for a limited time.
Order placement
Customers place their orders during the presale window. Payment is collected at the time of purchase.
Production & preparation
After the presale closes, items are manufactured or prepared according to the confirmed quantities.
Consolidated shipment
Presale items ship as part of a single consolidated shipment once production is complete.
Delivery to customers
Orders are shipped from Pointe-Claire, Québec, Canada, within the estimated shipping window stated on each product page.

Shipping timelines for presale items

Presale products do not ship immediately.

Each presale product page includes an estimated shipping window (for example: “Ships before July 2026”).
These timelines may differ significantly from standard in-stock shipping times.

Once presale items have shipped, standard carrier transit times apply.

In-stock items
Ship according to our standard shipping policy.
Presale items
Are manufactured to order and ship within the stated presale window.

If an order contains both presale and in-stock items, the order may ship together once all items are available, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellations, returns, and refunds

Presale items follow the same policies outlined in our Refund & Return Policy, with the following clarifications:

Presale orders may be cancelled and refunded before production or preparation has begun
Once production or preparation has started, cancellations and refunds may no longer be possible, except in cases of defects or errors
After shipment, presale items are subject to the same return eligibility rules as in-stock items, where applicable
