Presale Information
Last updated: July 14, 2026
A presale lets you reserve a product before it is ready to ship or be picked up. We use presales for selected items that may be manufactured, ordered from a supplier, assembled, or prepared after customer quantities are known.
Presales are offered when announced; there is no guaranteed annual schedule. Every presale item is clearly identified on its product page before purchase.
Presales at a glance
- Not ready to ship: a presale item is not currently in stock and does not follow our regular in-stock processing time.
- Product-specific timing: the product page shows the estimated shipment or delivery period that applies to that item.
- Payment: unless the product page says otherwise, payment is collected when you place the order.
- Mixed orders: an order containing presale and in-stock items may be held until everything is ready.
- Updates: if we expect a significant change to the stated timing, we will contact you with the revised estimate and the available options.
1. How it works
- We announce a presale. The product page identifies the item as a presale and gives its price, options, and estimated shipment or delivery period.
- You place your order. Review the product details and timing before checkout. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and applicable taxes and shipping charges are shown before you submit the order.
- We arrange the products. After the presale closes—or at the time stated on the product page—production, supplier ordering, assembly, or order-specific preparation begins.
- We prepare customer orders. When the products are ready, orders are received, sorted, and prepared for fulfillment in Pointe-Claire, Québec.
- We ship or confirm pickup. Shipped orders receive a shipment confirmation with carrier and tracking information. For local pickup, wait until we send the ready-for-pickup notice.
2. Payment
Unless the product page states otherwise, presale orders are paid in full when the order is placed. Available payment methods are shown at checkout.
For Québec consumer orders paid before delivery, we collect advance payment by credit card, except where the law allows another method.
3. When will my order ship?
The shipment or delivery estimate shown on the product page applies to the presale item. It replaces our regular in-stock processing time. Carrier transit time begins only after the order has been dispatched.
If we expect a significant delay, we will contact you using the details provided with the order. We will explain the new estimate and your options, which may include cancelling for a refund. We will ask for your agreement rather than assume that you accept a major delay.
If an order becomes very late, additional cancellation rights may apply. See the late-delivery section of our Shipping Policy for more information.
4. Presale and in-stock products in one order
If one order contains both presale and in-stock products, we may hold the full order until every item is ready and ship it together.
You may ask about a split shipment before fulfillment. If it is available, we will disclose any additional shipping charge before proceeding and will require your agreement. If we choose to split the order for operational reasons, we will not charge you more.
5. Cancelling before shipment
Contact us as soon as possible if you want to cancel. You may request a cancellation before order-specific production or preparation begins, and we will confirm whether the order can still be stopped.
Once materials have been cut or reserved for your order, customization or assembly has started, or we can no longer cancel an order placed with a supplier for you, we may be unable to cancel because you changed your mind. This is especially relevant to custom, personalized, made-to-order, or cut-to-order products.
This does not affect your options if delivery is late or an item is missing, incorrect, damaged, defective, or different from its description. It also does not limit any rights provided by law.
6. Returns and problems after delivery
- A regular, non-custom presale product may be returned after delivery if it meets the conditions in our Return and Refund Policy.
- A custom, personalized, customer-specific, made-to-order, or cut-to-order item identified as final sale before purchase is not returnable simply because you changed your mind once order-specific work has begun.
- A final-sale designation does not remove your rights if an item is wrong, missing, damaged, defective, misdescribed, or covered by an applicable warranty or legal right.
7. Shipping and local pickup
We currently ship within Canada only, from Québec. The available shipping or pickup option and its charge are shown at checkout. Oversize coroplast items and mixed orders containing an oversize item are not eligible for free standard shipping.
See our Shipping Policy for destinations, rates, oversize rules, local pickup, tracking, and general carrier transit estimates.
8. Questions before ordering?
If you are unsure about a product, its expected timing, or whether other items in your cart will be held, please contact us before placing the order.
